RV Equals Retirement Vehicle
Not everyone thinks the same way about RVs. However, of the years we have come to discover that a RV is the perfect retirement vehicle. It has everything we want and everything we need for fun, relaxation and adventure.
Vacations Leading to the RV
For the last four decades, my wife and I have developed a love for the outdoors and outdoor activities. We have spent the majority of our time working. During our working years, we have tried many outdoor sports and activities and found that we simply love them. The vacations we have taken have given us a chance to have adventures we thought we might never have had.
We have been fortunate to have taken trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, and Canada. We enjoyed them all, but there is something about RVing that changes a trip to an adventure. Sure, we had great times traveling by plane but traveling by RV makes traveling more relaxing and enjoyable. When you go in a RV, you only have to pack and unpack once to enjoy multiple places.
The RV Becomes Base Camp
During our pre-trips to retirement (called vacations), we discovered that our RV was a base camp for the adventures we were about to experience. All great adventures almost always require a base camp. We have discovered over the years that we enjoy multiple adventures: snow skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, white water rafting, exploring, motorcycle riding and the list goes on. This presented us with a dilemma, what kind of RV would suit us best?
Choosing a RV
One thing about RVs, with so many varieties, everyone can find one to fit their needs. We have decided that a toy hauler would be best for us. This gives us plenty of room for us and for our equipment. No matter what our adventure, we can take our equipment with us.
The Kids Use it Too
This also gives our son an excuse to use it. His favorite sport is four wheeling and our toy hauler can carry his toys too. It seems he loves to get muddy and enjoy the outdoors with his friends. His borrowed base camp, our toy hauler, and it gives him a place to clean up and rest his exhausted body after playing hard.
